The right ski gear,
based on how you actually ski.

Upload a 20-second clip. In about a minute you'll know what your turns are doing — and which skis, boots, and bindings actually match. Live now, free during early access.

You go straight into the app — no waitlist. Free during early access. One email per month, max.

Quizzes don't see you ski. Shop staff get five minutes.

Online buyer guides ask you to rate your skill on a slider. Shop staff size you up in a hallway. Neither of them watches your turns. Skarp starts with what your video shows — backseat stance, late edge set, narrow stance, whatever it is — and works back to the gear that matches.

What a read looks like

Sample output — 14-second clip, self-described intermediate.

68Solid intermediate carver

Fix next

  • Weight drifts backseat through the second half of each turn
  • Edge set comes late — skis skid before they grip

Gear that matches

All-mountain ski, 165–172 cm, medium flex. Boot flex 90–110 — your current rental-grade boot is too soft to hold the edge you're trying to set.

How it works

01

Film a run

A phone propped at the side of the slope, a buddy holding it — 10 to 20 seconds, side-on or diagonal works best.

02

Get read in about a minute

Technique notes appear first, then gear matched to what the video actually shows — you watch the analysis build instead of waiting for a report.

03

Walk away with a shortlist

Specific skis, boot flex, and binding ranges that match how you actually ski. Plus two or three things to fix before your next run.

What you get

Specific output, tied to the footage you uploaded. Not a personality quiz.

This works best if

  • You ski 5 to 15 days a season and feel stuck somewhere intermediate
  • You are about to buy or rent gear and would rather not guess
  • You have phone footage of yourself skiing — or can grab some next time out

This is not for you if

  • You have never clicked into a binding — you need a real lesson, not a tool
  • You want live coaching while you ski — this reads a clip, not a run
  • You want a structured training program — this is one focused pass on your footage

Questions you're probably asking

Is this live right now?

Yes. Enter your email and you go straight into the app — upload a clip and get your read today. No waitlist, no invite queue. The email is so we can reach you when early access ends.

Will you actually recommend specific gear?

Yes — model categories, ski length range, boot flex range, and binding DIN guidance based on what the video shows. Not a single SKU, but enough that you walk into a shop knowing what to ask for.

What kind of video should I upload?

10 to 20 seconds, side-on or diagonal angles. The more of your body is visible, the better the read. Front-facing or very steep downhill shots work but give weaker signal.

Is my video stored?

The video is processed and then deleted. It is not kept on any server, not used to train anything, not shared. The analysis result is saved so you can refer back; the video file is gone once frames are extracted.

How accurate is this really?

Strong first pass, not a biomechanics lab. It catches obvious patterns — late edge set, backseat stance, excessive rotation, mismatched boot flex — with reasonable consistency. Treat it as a sharp-eyed second opinion.

Why do you need my email?

To tell you when things change — new features, the moment this stops being free. No weekly newsletter. Unsubscribe in one click.

Is this free?

Yes, during early access. Right now, today, you pay nothing. That will change at some point — anyone signed up will hear first.
