Who is responsible

Skarp is operated by Radovan Skendžić (skendzic.dev). For anything on this page, including deletion requests, email skarp@skendzic.dev.

Your video is deleted

The clip you upload is written to disk, still frames are extracted from it, and the video file is deleted immediately afterwards. The frames are deleted as soon as the analysis finishes. Neither is kept, backed up, shared, or used to train any model.

While the analysis runs, the extracted frames are sent to Google's Gemini API, which performs the vision analysis. Google processes them under its own API terms. If you are not comfortable with that, do not upload a video.

What we keep

• Your analysis and gear recommendation — kept so you can return to your results link.
• Your email address — required before you can upload, so that we can send you your results and you can return to them later. It is also how we would tell you when something material changes. Your analyses are linked to it by a random identifier, never by the address itself.

What we delete

The details you enter about your body — sex, height, weight and age — are needed only to produce the recommendation. Once the analysis is complete they are erased from the record, and only the resulting advice remains.

Analyses are deleted entirely after 90 days.

Who else is involved

• Railway — hosting and storage of the data described above.
• Google (Gemini API) — performs the analysis on the extracted frames.
• Resend — sends email; stores your address if you signed up.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot check; sees a token, not your identity.
• PostHog (EU region, Frankfurt) — product analytics on this site and the app. Configured without cookies or local storage, so nothing is stored on your device and no consent banner is needed. Events are counts and categories (which step you reached, your stated ability level) — never your email, height, weight or age. Where session recordings are enabled, every form field and text value is masked.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for all of it to be deleted — including your analyses and your email address. Email skarp@skendzic.dev and it will be done, normally within a few days. Every email we send also has a one-click unsubscribe.

Early access

Skarp is pre-release software. This page will change as the product does; the date at the top tells you when it last did. Material changes will be emailed to anyone signed up.
